Dr. Rehan Shah
Rehan Shah, MD, received his training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He gained valuable experience by treating a very diverse population in the New York area.
He is currently the Founder and CEO of Renviva, a physician-owned and physician-led dialysis provider focused on bringing dialysis services to the home and onsite at SNFs.
He is the Chief Operating Officer and partner of CardioRenal Therapeutics, formed to bring not only dialysis services to SNFs but also to provide onsite cardiology, nephrology, and pulmonology care to residents needing specialty care in nursing facilities. This approach works alongside primary care to reduce readmissions for these complex patients. This full spectrum of care provides an integrated approach to SNFs, thereby improving patient outcomes and decreasing costs by reducing hospital admissions.
Recognizing the unmet need for mental health services tailored to chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, Dr. Shah founded ACTIVATECR, bringing together nephrology and psychology experts to provide accessible mental health support tailored specifically for patients at all stages of CKD.
With over fifteen years of experience, Dr. Shah remains committed to advancing home dialysis, integrating mental health into CKD care, and improving patient-centered nephrology solutions.
